This Gretsch tenor banjo is in excellent condition for a vintage instrument! It plays well, was certainly made with attention to detail, has a huge resonant sound and is comfortable to play. 

It certainly carries some mojo with it from it's past lives, a potentially great combination of owning a vintage instrument and being able to use it regularly! Here's some specifications / information from the manufactuerer:

"A new artist-instrument in the renowned "Broadkaster" tradition. One-piece rim and resonator flange unit with integral brackets and die-cast from nickel bronze for tremendous strength and rigidity, and finished in satin silver-plate. Polished silver-plated counter hoops. 5-piece built-up neck and resonator of beautifully polished American walnut, with real marquetry inlay and ivory binding on the resonator. White pearl fingerboard and headpiece, decorated in rich colors. 2-to-1 ratio Page geared pegs. Finest hard white calf-skin head."
